Our mini-excavation services in Mascouche

Foundation access is the largest share of our volume in Mascouche. An active crack, a waterproofing membrane at the end of its useful life, or a clogged French drain — in every case the perimeter has to be opened down to the concrete footing. We excavate with precision, protect buried utilities (gas, water, electrical), and leave the area open for our waterproofing or drain crew to step in. Backfill is then placed in compacted lifts so the ground does not settle in the years that follow.

Full French drain installation is the other major part of our work in Mascouche. On the clay soils of the area, where the water table rises in spring and hydrostatic pressure pushes against the foundation walls, a properly built new drain is the line between a dry basement and a weeping one. We excavate down to the footing, lay a bed of clean gravel, set the perforated pipe with the continuous slope required by the Code, cover with geotextile, and install cleanout risers at the four corners.

We also dig plumbing and utility trenches: municipal water service connection, natural-gas line, underground electrical to a shed or detached garage, sump-pump discharge line, or irrigation supply. Many properties on the edges of Mascouche are not on municipal sanitary sewer: we also prep the ground for septic-system installation and the leaching field, working from the engineer's plans provided by the client.

Our hallmark is precision in the tight spaces typical of Mascouche's residential streets. Narrow back yard, minimum setback from a neighbouring outbuilding, mature landscaping or paving stones to protect — we adapt to the site. Once the work is done we systematically restore the ground: topsoil replaced, lawn reseeded, paving stones reset to match what was there before.
